What are Canada’s next astronomers thinking about? What are the most exciting developments being discovered by our top students? What’s it like to be at the beginning of an astronomy career at a time when such exciting developments are unfolding? Share in the excitement of being an astronomy student, as they observe strange new objects using advanced telescopes and computers, while learning about the universe. Hear from students as they develop their research programs, travel to telescopes and conferences, and progress through their new careers.
Each week during IYA2009, we will publish a blog entry from a different astronomy student. The students will be studying all aspects of astronomy, at universities all across Canada. Each week there will be a new personality, with new stories for you to read and a unique perspective for you to share!
We'll be publishing blogs in both English and French, but not translating them. But if you can read both languages, you'll enjoy following both of the blogs.
Watch for a menu item to appear on the Home Page, to link you to the blogs, when they are published.
